Responsibilities
- Lead PPAP and APQP activities for new and existing programs
- Conduct root cause analysis using 8D, 5-Why, and fishbone methods
- Develop and review control plans, PFMEAs, and inspection procedures
- Support on-site and remote quality audits at supplier and OEM facilities
- Provide technical guidance to Quality Technicians in the field
- Prepare reports and present findings to clients and internal leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in supplier quality or quality engineering
- Strong knowledge of AIAG core tools (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
- Proficiency with quality management systems (ISO 9001)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification
- Experience in automotive, heavy-duty truck, or aerospace industries
- Proficiency with Minitab or similar statistical software
